Visit of a delegation from Nigeria at the Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt-Warendorf

A group of the Lagos State Technical and Vocational Education Board (LASTVEB) came to visit the Kreishandwerkerschaft in Beckum. The background of the visit is the current educational situation in Nigeria. There are no structures for vocational education. Therefore the Nigerian government currently invests in the establishment of structures and framework to ensure a quality education.

At the education center in Beckum, the guests got information about the dual education system in Germany and got an overview of the practical workshops. Especially the interplay between companies, vocational school and Kreishandwerkerschaft have left a great impression. Future cooperation between the KH and LASTVEB are being considered. The visit was initiated by the company Haver & Boecker in Oelde.
